i cower at the sound
of the eerie silence
your departure has left
in the middle of the night
when it used
to be filled
with the sound
of your sweet voice
softly calling my name
i close my eyes and i try to hide
but i cant escape the empty silence
you left in my life
so i lie here defeated
and i let
the silence scream
at me
