Re your sidebar. In England, the common greetin is "Happy Christmas". And if you read the original form of the poem "Twas the Night Before Christmas", you'll find Santa exclaiming "Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night". That really bothered me when I was a kid and my Dad was helping me memorize the whole poem.
